Volunteer Roles
Review the volunteer roles below. Please check the box(es) for the volunteer shifts you would like to work. We will then contact you with a volunteer schedule.
Setup
You will show up a little bit before the event starts to help get everything setup and ready to go! If interested, you can be on both the setup team and then take another role such as dog washer, check-in, or raffle ticket seller.

Dog Washer
For this role, you must be comfortable with dogs and ready to get wet! Dog washers will be getting down and dirty (and then clean!) with the pups. You'll be scrubbing or drying the pups. You'll want to wear appropriate clothing for washing dogs.
Four (4) people are needed per shift + 1 alternate are needed per shift

Check-In/Wash Management
You will be responsible for checking folks in as they arrive, getting them on the list for the services they need for their dog, and taking money. You will also sell raffle tickets if needed.
You will need to have a smartphone and the ability and willingness to download the Square app onto your phone.

Raffle Ticket Seller
You are the person who is going to bring the energy and excitement! You need to be comfortable approaching people, telling them about our raffle prizes, how the raffle works, and getting them excited about our mission.
You will need to have a smartphone and the ability and willingness to download the Square app onto your phone. We have severeal Bluetooth Square readers and several swipe readers.
Two (2) people are needed per shift.

Nail Trimming
If you have experience trimming nails and are comfortable with all types of dogs, we want YOU! If you have professional experience with nail trimming and grooming, that is ideal. We know we are going to have a lot of folks who want to have their pup's nails trimmed during this event.
Two (2) people are needed per shift.
Please check both shifts if you are interested in helping for the duration of the event.

Event Clean-Up
Help clean up and pack up supplies. May involve breaking down tables, chairs, and or pop-up tents. May require transporting supplies back to the Project POOCH Office in Lake Oswego, located 6 miles from the event location.
