Program Information

The Foodservice Buyer Sourcing Meetings event offers an exclusive opportunity to sit down with five foodservice operators/distributors/retailers. The program is limited and spots will be filled with an ultimate goal of including a diverse mix of suppliers across the supply chain.

 

Deadline to apply: 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Friday, June 7, 2024

Supplier benefits include:

  • 5 meetings with foodservice operators/distributors
  • Your company profile and company contact information included in the program booklet and distributed ahead of the event to all participants, including all participating foodservice operators/distributors
  • Contact information for all operator/distributor companies participating in the Sourcing Meetings
  • Non-exhibitor participants receive two complimentary Foodservice Conference registrations
  • Access to participant-only networking lunch immediately following the session (included in program timing).

Supplier responsibilities include:

  • Completion of this pre-meeting questionnaire to assist with arranging meetings
  • In-person attendance in all pre-scheduled meetings in designated meeting room. Note: suppliers may bring a maximum of two total registered representatives to the Sourcing Meetings event. Each representative must be on the Sourcing Meetings participant list.
  • This is a time for meet and greet only and there are NO guarantees items will be purchased or additional meetings will be scheduled.
  • Suppliers may bring printed or digital marketing collateral to share with buyers, but no product samples or displays of any kind are permitted during the Sourcing Meetings.
  • Payment in full upon confirmation of participation: You will be notified of your application status by mid-June 2024. A payment link will only be generated upon your acceptance of your participation. Please see Supplier Application Process below for more details.
Matchmaking Process:
  • IFPA will make every effort to create the highest quality schedules with the information provided by buyer and supplier participants. Matches will be determined by product, regional, and rank compatibility. IFPA cannot guarantee meetings with specific buyer companies. 
Supplier Application Process:
  • Interested grower/shipper/processor supplier companies may apply to paticipate in the program through close of business (5:00 p.m. Eastern) on Friday, June 7, 2024.
  • Following the application's closing, applicants will receive an update from IFPA regarding their application status (accepted or waitlist).
  • Companies that are accepted into the program will be required to confirm their participation by the provided deadline. Accepted companies that confirm their participation will be provided with a credit card payment link (and corresponding deadlines).

Cost to Participate:
 

  • Exhibitors, IFPA Members: US$2,295 (in addition to your booth cost)
  • Non-Exhibitors, IFPA Members: US$5,100 (this includes 2 complimentary All Access passes)
