To Serve Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages may be served within an exhibitor’s space only with consent from Show
Management.  By submitting this form, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions set forth by PMA and the official catering company. 

To serve alcohol on-site, the following requirements must be met:
  • Submit this form to Show Management by October 4, 2021.
  • Exhibiting companies must be fully insured and prepared with a certificate of insurance in the booth at all times. A certificate of insurance for general liability naming Produce Marketing Association and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center as additional insured must be retained and remain in force October 24-November 1, 2021.

Rules and Regulations for Serving Alcoholic Beverages in Your Booth
  • Alcohol may only be purchased through the convention center caterer, Centerplate. Exhibitors are not permitted to bring in their own alcohol without written permission from the convention center caterer.
  • Alcoholic samples are limited to (½) one half ounce of distilled spirits and (2) two ounces of beer or wine
  • If your product is the alcoholic beverage that you intend to serve, please contact the convention center caterer to find out about additional regulations on sampling your product.
  • Alcohol service may only be provided by a bartender contracted through the convention center caterer. A TIPS certified bartender is required to pour and serve all alcohol – without exception – guests are not allowed to serve themselves. Bartenders are available at the rate of US$200.00++ each for up to a 5 consecutive hours per day, with additional hours at $40++ per hour per bartender.
  • Alcoholic beverages may not be served during exhibit set-up or tear-down under any conditions.
  • Exhibitors can only serve alcohol within the confines of their booth space, and bar lines should not extend into the aisle or blocking neighboring booths.
  • No cash bars are permitted, nor sales of tokens for cash.
  • No minors under the age of 21 may be served any alcohol.
  • Show Management and/or bartenders are fully authorized to deny all further alcohol service to persons who may appear intoxicated, disorderly or under the age of 21.

Certificate of Insurance

It is necessary for you to carry general liability coverage from an insurance company in good standing with minimum policy limits of US$1,000,000 per occurence and US$2,000,000 aggregate.  Produce Marketing Association, Global Experience Specialists and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center shall be named as additional insured.  This insurance must be in force during the lease dates of the event, October 24 - November 1, 2021. Insurance may be purchased through Rainprotection Insurance, PMA’s official insurance provider.
 
If you already have your certificate of insurance, you can attach it below or simply have a copy of it on-hand in your booth.
