LCHS 7/8 PTA thanks you in advance for your support of YOUR student and YOUR school. With your generous donations and, in collaboration with the school, the 7/8 PTA will fund student enrichment programs, technology, classroom support for teachers, library supplies and subscriptions, the annual Reflections arts program, character development week, teacher appreciation events and much more. 
 
The funding sources that comprise the annual PTA budget are donations you choose to make on this form.  The 7/8 PTA relies on school families to donate, either to our PTA General and Directed funds, or as Sponsors for the annual Home Tour.   YOUR student and YOUR school are counting on you, so thanks for your support.

That will take you to the Order Form page which you can review before submitting your order. If you would like to change anything, you can return back to the form page and change anything you would like before submitting for payment.
 
You may pay by PayPal with a credit card. You do not need to be a PayPal member to use PayPal, simply enter the required credit card information.   Please be sure you complete both steps to the order process.  You will receive two email confirmations, one for the order and the other for the payment.
 
Please note that it is no longer an option to pay with a check, due to significant issues the PTA has experienced collecting checks.   We realize that there are a small group of families who require payment by check for donations.  If this describes your situation, please contact our Treasurer at ptatreasurer@lchs78.org.    NOTE:   this is ONLY for donations.  If you are purchasing PTA membership, directories, and agendas you must utilize this form.

LCHS 7/8 PTA Membership

Join LCHS 7/8 PTA!   Membership demonstrates support for YOUR student and YOUR school.  This year we are hoping for 100% of our teachers and families to become PTA members and we'd like to achieve 700 total members!  A strong membership demonstrates our support of our school, so please join and keep LCHS 7/8 strong! 

Please enroll all parents/guardians and each of your 7/8 students.  Family members such as grandparents can also become LCHS 7/8 PTA members!   One half of your membership contribution stays right here at our school, so it's a win/win to join!

Please note, while PTA meetings are open to the public, only 7/8 PTA members are granted the privilege of voting.

Directory Orders

A limited number of directories are still available. Order soon to ensure you receive one. Price is $10. By owning a directory, you will have access, in one convenient place, to: student names and contact information, school phone numbers, names and contact information of staff and teachers, names and contact information of PTA Board Members and Committee Chairs, important dates throughout the school year, bell schedules, and much more. Remaining directories will be ditributed on a first come, first served basis.

Spartan 7/8 Spirit Wear

LCHS 7/8 PTA Donations: Thanks for your support!

A donation to the 7/8 PTA General Fund supports classroom funds for our teachers, programs such as Reflections, Student of the Month, Stand Up 7/8 and more.

Donations in this category will fund critical items such as classroom projectors, Apple TV, video cameras and more.

Did you know that 7/8 PTA funds a large portion of the athletics program for the school?   In keeping with PTA focus on health and fitness, PTA funding allows our school to offer eight different sports for both girls and boys, some of which have with multiple teams per sport or are "no cut" sports.  Donations to this category will support the cost of the 7/8 Athletic Coordinator, coach fees, supplies and more. Our extracurricular funds also fund the Science Olympiad, student government, builders' club and homework club. 33rd Annual LCHS Spring Home Tour 2019 

A Fundraiser Benefiting La Cañada High School 7/8 PTA & 9-12 PTSA

The LCHS Spring Home Tour is the primary annual PTA fundraiser that enables funding for programs and supplies that directly impact all of our La Cañada High School students (Grades 7-12). We welcome all students, parents and community members to participate in this event. Attendees will enjoy tours of four local homes, all selected and showcased for their architectural interest and inspirational design. Accompanying the tour is an Evening Reception with live music, food and drink and an all-day Marketplace with vendors and dining options. Please consider sponsoring* as a family or business as we continue to make this cherished community-wide event a successful fundraiser for our school.

We invite our school families who may have a business or know a business owner, to consider becoming a Home Tour Business Sponsor. Business Sponsors receive wide visibility and recognition in a variety of media prior to and on the event day of May 3, 2019. Business Sponsors will be contacted regarding submitting graphics for Program Book ads.

LCHS 7/8 "Willing Hands" Volunteers

Please join our "Willing Hands" volunteer team.   As events and needs come up over the course of the school year, you'll receive an email from our Volunteers VP requesting your help.   Requests will vary in time and duration and can include evening, weekend and day time hours.  Also, please consider volunteering for our biggest fundraiser of the year, Home Tour. The Home Tour will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2019. You can be a docent the day of the Home Tour or there are many opportunities to help on the Home Tour Committee. Thanks!

Ralphs

Raise money for our school without spending any extra!

Ralphs will pay LCHS a percentage of what you spend, at no cost to you, when your club card is registered to benefit LCHS.

Ralphs's school year starts September 1st and you have to do the registering yourself, so we'll be sending out registration instructions to everyone in early September. 

Vons no longer donates to schools through eScrip, which is not associated with the Ralphs Community Contribution program.
