PURPOSE
Caledon Ski Club Limited (the “Club”) is committed to providing a safe environment for our employees, our Members, our coaches/contractors/volunteers, and members of the public with whom we regularly interact.

In our day-to-day operations, the Club has a responsibility to take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the health and safety of our staff and Members, especially given that many of our Members are children and are not eligible at present to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. It is therefore critical that the Club take any and all reasonable precautions to protect against the transmission and reduce the severity of the illnesses associated with COVID-19. Receiving the recommended COVID-19 vaccinations (double vaccination or full vaccination) as soon as possible, and any further recommended booster vaccinations will help continue to protect our staff and our families by reducing transmission and the severity of the illnesses associated with COVID-19.

The purpose of this Vaccination Policy (the “Policy”) is to provide guidelines pertaining to the expectations and requirements of Members, employees, guests, volunteers, contractors, and any other individuals who wish to access Club Property with respect to COVID-19 and vaccination.

For the purposes of this Policy, “Club Property” means all Club buildings, facilities, ski lifts, trails, forested areas and indoor and outdoor common areas but does not include the residential properties as located on the Lower Chalet Road accessed by the 17585 Mississauga Road entrance or those located on the Upper Chalet Road accessed through 1200 Forks of the Credit Road entrance.

SCOPE
This Policy applies to all individuals who enter Club Property, including employees, contractors, volunteers, Members, guests, and members of the public.

POLICY

Effective immediately, the Club requires all individuals, including Club employees, who are eligible for vaccination to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to enter Club Property, subject only to the accommodations set out in this Policy. “Fully vaccinated” means having received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada or any combination of such vaccines, one or two doses or a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada, followed by a one dose of a COVID-19mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or Three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada; and they received their final does of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days ago.

Children who are between 5 and 11 years old are strongly recommended to receive their vaccinations as soon as they become eligible, all children who attend the Club in this age group should be vaccinated as soon as possible during this winter operating season.

Children who are not eligible to be vaccinated due to their age will be allowed to enter Club Property when they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.

All individuals must provide confirmation of their vaccination status before being allowed to enter Club Property. Confirmation may be in the form of the Ontario QR Code vaccination passport system, or such other records which demonstrate that the individual has been fully vaccinated, along with photo identification, as directed by the Club.

If an individual who is otherwise eligible to be fully vaccinated is not fully vaccinated based on a medical exemption or other reason protected under human rights legislation, that individual must provide supporting information to the Club which explains the reason why the individual cannot receive a vaccine.

For medical or religious exemptions, please contact Administration at admin@caledonskiclub.on.ca to receive a copy of our "Caledon Request for Accommodation Form."

All accommodation requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Club’s legal obligations.

For any individual who is not able to be vaccinated, the Club reserves the right to implement all necessary or appropriate protocols, such as rapid testing, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment, restricting access to Club Property, suspending membership, revising or terminating contracts of employment, or any other measure necessary to protect the health and safety of its employees, members, and the general public.
