Thank you for considering a field trip to the Children's Museum of Acadiana! To ensure a smooth scheduling process, kindly use this form to request your trip. Please note the following essential details:

  1. Submission Deadline: Your field trip request must be submitted at least two weeks before your desired trip date. This allows us to make the necessary arrangements and guarantees the best possible experience for your students.

  2. Confirmation Process: Your trip is not officially scheduled until a Museum representative contacts you to finalize the date and time selections. We'll work closely with you to find the most convenient options for your group.

  3. Deposit Requirement: To secure your selected date, we kindly request a $75 deposit to be submitted within two weeks of booking. This deposit ensures we can reserve your date and prepare for your visit. If your school cannot process the deposit, we will require approval for the field trip from the administration to secure the date. 
  4. Response Time: As we receive a high volume of field trip requests, please allow 48-72 office hours (Tuesday - Friday) for a Museum representative to contact you. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.

      Pre-K - 3rd Grade - 90 minutes - $6 per student
Extended Exploration Expedition    
      Pre-K - 3rd Grade - 2 hours - $7 per student
Touch, Look, Listen, and Learn      
      Pre-K & Kindergarten - 2 hours - $8 per student
100th Day Celebration                  
      Kindergarten & 1st Grade - 90 minutes - $7 per student*
      3rd - 4th Grade - 2 hours - $8 per student
      3rd Grade - 5th Grade - 2 hours - $11 per student
  • Sales tax, if applicable, is not included in the price
  • Teachers/School faculty are admitted for free
  • Parent chaperones will be charged $3 each. Children who attend and are not part of the group (siblings) will be charged our normal admission rate of $7.
Please note: For the best field trip experience, we require an 8:1 student chaperon ratio. 
  • For the best experience, we recommend having no more than one adult for every 5 – 8 students.
  • Consider traffic when selecting arrival and departure times. Please note that it may not be possible for late arrivals to experience the full program, as an extension of your trip time is not guaranteed.
