More than 300 judges are needed to help make the 2025 Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair a success. There are 3 days of judging and multiple categories that need judging assistance. Preliminary judging for the entire fair takes place on Tuesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5. Finalist judging will be done on Wednesday, March 12.  Judges can register for up to three days of judging student presentations. 

Preliminary Judging will be virtual. Finalist Judging will be in-person.

Please note that judges for Special Awards can judge on-line project materials anytime between March 4 and March 12.

We are also looking for Zoom moderators during virtual judging. You can volunteer to do both but you cannot be a judge and a moderator simultaneously.

In advance of the fair, judges will be emailed a packet containing judging information. You will be notified of of your judging assignment by March 2. An orientation session will take place before the fair. Details are included with the information packet available on the judges webpage.
