The 2025 Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair needs volunteers during Fair Week.
March 11 - Volunteers are needed to set up the Exhibit Hall (tables, power, signs).
March 12 - Volunteers are needed for Finalist Check-In, Rules & Safety, Project Setup & Checkout, help with student breaks and to clean up the Exhibit Hall.
March 14 - Volunteers are needed to set up for the Awards Ceremony.
March 15 - Volunteers are needed to check-in award winners and guests, to pass out programs, to pack up and clean up after the Awards Ceremony and to clean up any other rooms as needed.

As part of your volunteer application process with Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair, we need you to complete a quick basic background check for Criminal Records and National Sex Offender Registry Records. This process is very simple and will take less than 5 minutes. You will need to provide 1) legal first name and legal last name, correctly spelled; 2) date of birth. Social Security Number (SSN) is requested but it is optional. There is a checkbox that you can select to override it.
Background check fees are paid by the Fair.
