Teachers, administrators, or department chairs of middle schools or high schools from priority school districts are eligible to apply for up to $500 for a competitive mini-grant to support Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair student projects. The Applicant must have students that are registered in the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair.
Funds may be used, but not limited to: transportation, laboratory equipment, laboratory supplies, field equipment, or display supplies and printing. We encourage applicants to focus on the needs of a PROGRAM, not the individual needs of one student project.
The Urban School Challenge mini-grant program is managed by Dr. Frank LaBanca, Vice President, CT Science Fair Association. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; responses are generally provided within 2 weeks.
