U.S. Figure Skating is excited to announce the first national training and education program that brings together coaches, competitive athletes, officials' training and parents information for a multi-day event focusing on skill development, performance development, character development and pursing excellence in the sport!
 
This program will be held at the DoubleTree Hilton - Colorado Springs and the Broadmoor Ice Hall.

NATIONAL COACHES COLLEGE

Coaches from all disciplines are welcome to attend a three-day National Coaches College featuring classroom sessions, collaborative sessions, on-ice sessions for coaches only, and observation of athlete sessions with some of the top faculty in the world. 
 
Access to Excellence will also include the National Technical Panel Training & Appointment School, held in parallel and in conjunction with the National Coaches College, providing an opportunity for coaches and officials to learn and network together. In addition, it will be held in conjunction with the National Athlete Acceleration Training Camp, providing an opportunity for coaches to observe, or even bring their students. Coaches may also stay to observe the final day of the Athlete Acceleration Training Camp on Saturday, May 18th at no additional cost.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The National Coaches College of Access to Excellence will be capped at a maximum of 300 participants (first-come, first served). The registration deadline is April 15, 2024, or when the coach capacity has been reached.
 
Registration fee: $475 per coach
 
Includes: 
*Three full-days of educational sessions
*Welcome Coaches & Cocktails Dessert Party with officials and faculty
*Classroom sessions with officials and class room sessions unique to coaches
*Coach collaboration sessions
*On-ice sessions for coaches only
*Observation of parts of the Technical Panel School
*Guided observation of athlete sessions 
*Optional: Open observation of athlete sessions on Saturday, May 18th.
 
 
Optional, for purchase: 
*Lunches at the rink (a form will be provided later)
*U.S. Figure Skating Coach & Access to Excellence branded merchandise (information provided later)
 
Note:  PSA is offering 24 education credits to PSA members holding a rating.  This is a great way for coaches to get enough credits to keep a rating active before coaching and accreditations transfer to U.S. Figure Skating. PSA Ratings must be active to transfer to the new USFS accreditation system.
