Deadlines

IMPORTANT: The deadline to apply to trial judge singles/pairs and/or ice dance competitions for the 2024-25 season has passed. Please check back in the spring for the 2025-26 application.

Applications to trial judge competitions will be submitted in writing by the applicant not later than:

Sept. 1 for qualifying competitions,
Oct. 1 for qualifying synchronized skating competitions,
April 15 for National Theatre On Ice, and
30 days prior to the start of the competition for other approved nonqualifying competitions.

Late requests may be considered at the discretion of the appropriate vice chair.

Requests to trial or practice judge must be limited to events required for:

promotion,
appointment, or
to supplement judging activity.
