Larger home fee: All homes over 1,999 square feet of conditioned space will be assessed a larger home fee. If applicable, please select the corresponding size of your home. (5,000 or more square feet will involve a custom fee.)

$75 - 2,000-2,999 square feet

$150 - 3,000-3,999 square feet

$225 - 4,000-4,999 square feet

*As applicable, additional charges for larger homes and for longer travel (in excess of 50 miles from Viridiant office in Richmond) will be collected onsite or invoiced after the visit. Details below.

Infrared Scans - The audit-grade camera shows weak spots in your home’s “thermal envelope” to locate insulation or air-sealing defects.

Blower Door Test - This test utilizes a calibrated fan to measure how drafty your home is and to target problem areas.

Duct Leakage Test (first system serving up to 1500 square feet) - A calibrated fan measures the amount of heated/cooled air you pay for but doesn’t reach the registers. A blower door test is also required for this service.

$145.00 (Duct Leakage Test - first system)

Duct Leakage Test (second system) - If the home has more than one unique duct system, we would test that separately if desired.

$125.00 (Duct Leakage Test - second system)

Duct Leakage Test (third system) - If the home has more than one unique duct system, we would test that separately if desired.
