We do our adoption fair every other Sunday (twice a month.) Volunteer help is needed on these days from 10:30-4:00. Set up begins at 10:30, the fair starts at 11, ends at 3 and breakdown/clean up goes until about 4. How many hours a month are you willing/able to commit to?

ADOPTION FAIR-
We hold an adoption fair every other Sunday in Beverly Hills. We need volunteers to: set up, break down, talk with prospective adopters, introduce people to dogs, take dogs for walks, etc.

HOME CHECKS-
Before placing a dog in a home we need to do a home check to ensure it is a safe environment. This involves travel to the home, which can possibly incur gas costs. You must have a vehicle, be good at interacting with people and have an objective attitude.

TRANSPORTING-
We need help getting the dogs to and from the adoption fairs. During the week we often need help getting a dog to and from the vet. This would require you to be willing to use your own car for transporting animals.

FOSTERING-
Fostering is a very rewarding experience! Dogs who live in foster homes have a better chance of getting adopted quicker and adjusting to their new home better. While in foster care a dog learns the human-animal bond, understands what it is like to live in a home and be part of a family and will hopefully learn some basic obedience- all of which makes the dog more adoptable! There's nothing more valuable to a rescue organization than great foster homes!
