More than 300 judges are needed to help make the 2018 Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair a success. There are multiple categories that need judging assistance, and three days of judging—(1) Monday, March 12, Urban School Preliminary Judging (with students present), (2) Tuesday, March 13, Preliminary Judging for the entire fair (without students present), and (3) Wednesday, March 14, Finalist Judging Interviews (finalists present). Judges can register for one, two, or all three days.  

Please note that judges for Special Awards can judge on either Tuesday, March 13, or on Wednesday, March 14 (finalists present).

Continental breakfast and buffet lunch provided. A vegetarian option is offered. Special dietary needs can be accommodated at the University's Cafe, hours 8 am - 2 pm, a short walk across campus. Meal ticket will be provided by CSEF.

Monday Urban School Challenge Judging–

These are preliminary judging interviews for the Urban School Challenge middle school and high categories. Judging takes place from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm. Your commitment is at least one 3 hour time slot of your choosing. Please select your time choice(s) below.

Tuesday Judging- All categories/except High School are judged without students present. Let us know whether you're staying for lunch.

Wednesday Judging- Finalist Judging Interviews for all categories and grades. Let us know whether you're staying for lunch.

Applications will be reviewed by the judging committee. You will be notified of approval within two weeks.

In advance of the fair, judges will be emailed a packet containing judging information and a map with directions to Quinnipiac University. Your judging assignment and an orientation session will take place the day of the fair. Details are included with the information packet available on the judges webpage.
