To be eligible for the grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a student member of NAPNAP
2. In good standing in their PNP program with a GPA of greater than 3.0.
3. Be enrolled in their first nurse practitioner program, in a recognized program of study leading to completion of qualifications for education and practice as a PNP. A PNP program is defined as one which primarily prepares an individual to deliver child health care services, either in primary care, specialty care or acute care settings. The program must be associated with an academic institution authorized to award a master’s degree or DNP in nursing.
4. Have a recommendation from the PNP Program Coordinator/Director, verifying they are in good standing
5. Be able to attend at least three full days of the conference, including the the student reception on Friday, March 25, 2011.
6. Agree to serve as a volunteer at the conference, to assist with moderating or monitoring sessions or collecting tickets at meal functions, if requested.
7. Agree to send a follow up report identifying how attendance influenced professional goals and development.
