NEW VOLUNTEERS: Thank you for continuing your Moontower volunteer registration! 

When filling out this form, please keep these points in mind:

* You will be given wristbands to check out the festival on the days you're not working.

* You must be available to volunteer for a minimum of 2 shifts. You're welcome to sign up for more - but only sign up for more if you can make it.

* Unfortunately the full venue schedule will not be published before you select your volunteer venues/dates.

* If you are registering for the Hospitality area, you can register for back-to-back/overlapping shifts.

* The Paramount and Stateside shifts take place mostly outside, managing the lines - unfortunately you will not have access to these shows during your shift.

* At other venues you will get to catch shows during your shift and when you're not working.

Types of Volunteer Roles

Hospitality - Volunteers will be stationed at the hospitality space in the Stephen F. Austin, checking in, greeting and supporting our VIP badge holders.

Venue - Volunteers will be stationed at the festival venues doing one or all of the following activities around the comedy shows: Line Liaison; Badge Check; Counter; VIP, Set-Up and Breakdown; and General Help.
 
Observer/General - Volunteers may be placed at venues that need extra help, and, where possible, volunteers may be sent to a show that has available space to watch the show and provide feedback about the show, venue, set-up, etc to help us with future planning (no choice of shows, no connection with show team). Volunteers will also help with the festival's social media campaign (tweeting, posting).
 
Badge Pick-Up - Volunteers will be stationed in the Paramount lobby distributing Moontower badges to registered guests. 

Pong Rock Smackdown - The Moontower Pong Rock Smackdown is a first of it's kind event in which Moontower comics will take on badge holders in a six table ping pong tournament.  The event will also include a live podcast featuring festival talent.  We will need volunteers to help with the set up and break down of the event as well as help running the registration table, ensuring a smooth running tournament, and promoting a fun environment for all our artists and guests.

Please select a minimum of 2 shifts, and only sign up for shifts that you will be able to make. Please keep in mind that the venue schedule will not be published until well after volunteer registration - so your guess about where to catch particular shows is as good as mine.

Please DO NOT select overlapping shifts except for Hospitality.
